FARM AND COOKING SCHOOL
We are pleased to offer private class options in our kitchen or yours. If you have a group of 8 or more we can work together to create a unique menu for using fresh local ingredients. Whether celebrating a special occasion or just interested to learn a new cooking technique private lesson are a great option for a memorable event.
Our workshops are a great way to learn about some of the more unique things happening around the farm throughout the year. These may include butchering demonstrations, harvesting honey, releasing the bees and harvesting techniques.

Appetizers & Small Plates – Gluten Free
During this class we learned how to make flavorful appetizers and snacks to bring to your family or friends houses for any occasion. Some of the appetizers we prepared could easily become small plates for picky food at home.
Pottery Classes –
Ann Conte, our pottery instructor from the South Shore Arts Center leads these workshops as the farm. Ann shares her knowledge while we learn some hand-building and sculptural techniques that are required to design some functional and whimsical pottery pieces.
Fall Festival –

Sweet Pie Class –
This particular class included recipes for our homemade pie crust and a few different styles of pies including crostatas, traditional pies and crisps.

Artisanal Bread Making –
Our friend Ricardo from Mamadou’s Bakery in Winchester leads this class. We learn the skills and techniques needed to make some of the tastiest breads we have ever shared at our table.

Guest Chef Alison Hearn leads the Asian Cuisine Class. Chef Alison Hearn formerly of Myers & Chang shares her knowledge by teaching us her techniques and recipes for some of our favorite dumplings around.
Homemade Pasta Class –
This Pasta Class is slowly turning into our signature class here on the farm. It must be all 40 of our happy healthy chickens providing us with the beautiful eggs needed for our recipes!
